One down, three to go…

Lisa arrived safely in Kampala the evening of Nov. 4th and spent the night with some missionary friends.  The following day, she took a two hour ride to Jinja to be with the Philip and Zachery at the orphanage.  On Friday, Lisa, the boys and the foster coordinator left early in the morning back to Kampala for office visit “number one“.  The purpose of this visit was to get a document allowing her to begin the passport process (that would be visit “number two”).  The other visits will be to a medical clinic and the U.S. Embassy (“three and four“).  She is staying at the orphanage just above where Zachery sleeps (Philip is in a different building) and hasn’t yet fully adjusted to her new time zone and hasn’t slept well.  Which brings me to today’s “please pray”…

  • that Lisa gets some good sleep
  • that the medical clinic will have an opening before the 18th
  • that Lisa and the boys have a great weekend of bonding
