A short “State of the Union”

The home study is almost done!    We’ve finished our interviews and an all-day required seminar.    The reference letters are all in (thanks everyone!) and the final touches are being completed even as I write this.    Once this giant stack of documents is typed up and finalized, it gets proofed and reviewed.   When it clears that hurdle it gets the official stamp of approval and can be faxed to Amani.   THEN we are able to get a referral.  We are not sure how long it will be before we know who these little people are that God has chosen to be ‘Hardings’.     Would you pray for His best to continue to unfold?   Fingerprints need to be processed and lots of details need to fall into place on the Ugandan side and there are probably LOTS of obstacles that could clog up this process.  But regardless of the details and all the unknown, we are relaxed and eagerly confident that God (not governments or agencies) is completely in control of this entire event.

Proverbs 21:1

The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD;he turns it wherever he will.
